FLUSHING TOWNSHIP, MI -- Six people are facing charges after authorities said one man was shot when at least three men broke into a Flushing Township home and robbed a medical marijuana growing operation.

One suspect remains at large and police are asking for the public's help in finding him.
Brandon T. Cordell, 23; Jeremy D. Leverette, 21; and Anthony A. Beaurem, 32; are each charged with one count of assault with intent to murder, five counts of armed robbery and one count of home invasion. Genesee County Sheriff Robert Pickell said the three men broke into the home on the 3000 block of North Duffield Road shortly before 1 a.m. Feb. 14.
Codrell and Leverette are in custody awaiting preliminary exams. Beaurem is also facing additional charges of carrying a concealed weapon, felon in possession of a firearm and felony firearms. Pickell said Beaurem is still at large.
Pickell said three men entered the home with handguns and ordered the male victim, his girlfriend and three children into the bedroom.
The men allegedly ordered the male victim to unlock the basement of the house, keeping him at gunpoint until it was opened. Authorities believe there was a medical marijuana growing operation in the basement.
Pickell the suspects went on to take marijuana, guns, knives, cell phones, wallets and jewelry from the home. Pickell said the three suspects met up with a fourth suspect, James M. Toney, outside the home and fled in a car.

Toney, 22, has been arraigned on one count of assault with intent to murder, five counts of armed robbery and one count of home invasion.

All four suspects allegedly fled the scene together. Pickell said the male victim got into his own vehicle and began chasing their vehicle onto Sheridan Road. While on Sheridan, Pickell said the victim's car was close to the suspect when Leverette allegedly opened the back, driver's-side window and began shooting.
One bullet went through the victim's front windshield and hit the victim in the arm.
Pickell said the victim rammed the suspect's dark-green sedan and returned home, where he gathered his girlfriend and her children to drive to the hospital.
Since the victims' phones were taken, Pickell said the girlfriend used Facebook to have an acquaintance contact police about the incident.
Pickell said the investigation uncovered that two women, Kiara M. Cox and Nehna C. Matthew-Daniel, allegedly began using the victim's credit card after the robbery.
Cox, 23, is charged with credit card fraud. She is free on $3,000 bond. Matthew-Daniel is charged with accessory after the fact and using a financial transaction device without consent. She is free on $2,000 bond. Both have pre-trials set for April 30.

Pickell said authorities were able to connect the women to the male suspects, adding that he believes Toney may have been involved with growing the marijuana with the victim.
